Ladakh

Mongolians and British did of Srinagar, capital of Kashmir, their favourite mountain station where to take refuge of the exhausting heat and humidity during the monsoons. Nevertheless, during last the 15 years, from the outbreak of the armed conflict that faces the armies of India and Pakistan to take control of the region, the immense majority of tourists has moved away of Kashmir and Dal Lake for ever.[+]

     

Budapest

"The Pearl of the Danube"
 

Borned in the middle of the XIX century from the union of three millenarian cities, Óbuda, Buddha and Pest, this old jewel of the crown of the Austrohungarian Empire turns out to be an exciting fusion of landscaping, architectonic and historical resitances. Declared Patrimony of the Humanity by UNESCO, the capital of Hungary is not short of careful lovers who have invented it names so romantic and varied as "The Paris of the Danube", "The City of the Coffees", "The City of the Thermal Baths" or "The capital of the Wonders". Nevertheless, between all of them, without a doubt that "The Pearl of the Danube" turns out to be the most appropriate since, not to do it, would leave without his deserved tribute the omnipresent river that crosses the city, granting to Budapest its so particular identity.
